Resolution 2019-01 Adopting the Vernon County Multi-Hazards Mitigation Plan 2018-2022.
The Town of Harmony hereby adopts the Vernon County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan 2018-2022 as an official plan.
Ord.2018-05 Designating ATV and UTV routes
The Town of Harmonv passed an ATV/UTV ordinance on September 13, 2018 designating all Town roads as legal routes per request from landowners and farmers that have increased their use of such vehicles. The Town has not experienced any problems wlth the ATV/UTV traffic.
Ord.2018-03 Establishing Refund Policy for Overpayment of Taxes
Therefore, it is hereby ordained by the Town Board of the Town of Harmony, that any overpayments received in an amount less than $5.00 shall not be refunded; and furthermore, that any amounts not refunded be held in the General Fund of the Town of Harmony.
Ord.2018-02 Confidentiality of Income and Expense Records
The purpose of this ordinance is to provide confidentiality of the records of taxpayers who provide income and expense record information to the town assessor under s. 70.47 (7) (af), Wis. Stats., and to exempt that information from being subject to the right of inspection or copying as a public record under s. 19.35 (1), Wis. Stats.
Resolution to Participate in Vernon County Solid Waste and Recycling Program.
The Town of Harmony pledges to fully support and participate in the Vernon County Solid Waste and Recycling Program.
Ord.2018-01 Moratorium on Creation of New Livestock Facilities/CAFOs Extension
(Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations)
The Town Board of Harmony, Vernon Co. Wisconsin passed a moratorium at its monthly meeting on January 18th, 2018. This is an ordinance to impose a 12 month moratorium on new Livestock Facilities/CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations).A 12 month extension was passed by the Town Board of Harmony.
